Welcome to the East Franklin Elementary School web site.

East Franklin Elementary is very proud of its past and excited about the future. Renovation to the existing building were completed in August of 2008. These renovations included: converting the gym into three second grade classrooms, new heating and cooling systems, lower ceilings, tile floors and the installation of active boards in every classroom. In addition to the renovations, a new gym and three kindergarten classrooms will be ready for the 2009-2010 school year.

With tremendous effort of faculty and staff, East Franklin meets 10 of 10 AYP goals and experienced high growth. This was the first time in several years that EFES has experienced that level of success as a school.

Congratulations to Natalie Norman as School and County Teacher of the Year and to Melba Ward, teacher assistant of the year.
